Uniform Information for External Sixth Form Applicants
As you may already be aware, our onsite uniform shop is run wholly by unpaid volunteers from our PTFA (Parent, Teacher and Friends Association) with all profits made being granted back to the school for the benefit of all our students.
When to Visit Our Shop Please only visit the uniform shop once you have received confirmation of your place in the Sixth Form.
We will be open on the following days and times:
• FRIDAY 22/08 - 12:30 - 19:00
• SATURDAY 23/08 - 09:30 - 13:00 & 14:00 - 17:00
• TUESDAY 26/08 - 15:00 - 20:30
• SATURDAY 30/08 - 09:30 - 12:30
• WEDNESDAY 03/09 - 08:00 - 09:00 (PLEASE only visit on this day if you definitely can't make any other date or need to exchange anything purchased at one of our earlier openings)
We'll be operating like any other high street shop/school uniform retailer with rails of all the uniform required and changing room facilities. We advise you to visit at your earliest opportunity and we will aim to have plenty of volunteers on hand to assist you.
Uniform Needed All external applicants will need both a blazer and a tie. If they will be choosing a sporty option on Wednesday afternoons, they will also need our crested Games kit. We also offer optional coordinating navy skirts (fully waist adjustable) for our female applicants which are very popular.
Payment Arrangements Payment is accepted by debit or credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or in cash (excluding £50 notes). Please note we no longer accept cheques.
How to Find Us Please make your way to Oakleaze, Longlevens, Gloucester, GL2 0LF and enter the school site via gate 1 (the main drive up to reception). You can either park in the diagonal parking spaces on your right as you come up the drive or continue up the driveway alongside our new Business Enterprise Centre and bear round to the left to park outside the tennis courts in one areas outlined in green. If there are no spaces in either of these areas, you may also park on the tennis courts providing the gates are open. Please ensure you follow the signage and this map and enter the block opposite the tennis courts to help ease queuing and congestion!

Keep The Faith
We build a sense of community and what it means to be a Richian right from a student’s very first visit to the School. Above all, we put the highest level of pastoral care at the heart of everything we do; we pride ourselves on our 'small school' ethos, and we work hard to get to know our pupils as individuals. Our aim is for every student to enjoy their time at Sir Thomas Rich’s, developing healthy, happy relationships with peers and adults which build self-confidence and resilience.
