Year 5 pupils from Longlevens Junior School visited us today to take part in an interactive Shakespeare workshop with Mr Parker on ‘The Comedy of Errors’. Pupils were introduced to the world of the play, considered what it is like to be a stranger in a strange land, thought about life as a twin, and mistaken identity. Pupils presented the story of the play, explored its language and finished with short performances of extracts from the play itself. The workshop was a huge hit, and the Year 5 pupils were brilliant, throwing themselves into the world of Shakespeare with enthusiasm and great energy!
